Paper Stars✨

Spoiler Warning! Paper Stars largely follows the main plot of Mission To Zyxx, so it's necessary to spoil some plot points in order to explain the ship-lore. I highly recommend listening to the podcast first!

SEASON 1

Filly is a Celian from the planet Celic9 (and half-tellurian, on her mothers side), assigned by the Federated Alliance as a co-ambassador aboard the Bargarean Jade along with Pleck Decksetter–a Tellurian from the planet Rangus 6.
It's love-at-first-sight (excepting that it's his voice that makes her realize, and not the sight of him exactly)! Pleck is a little more oblivious however, and see's his co-ambassador as a friend and nothing more. The two carry on getting closer, with Filly stuttering and stammering her way through her crush, and Pleck assuming she's just Like That, until the two consider themselves to be best friends.
Somewhere along the line, Filly tries to confess, and takes Pleck's (oblivious and unaware) reaction as a rejection, chickening out before she can really tell him how she feels.
It's at this point that Filly decides it's too painful to stay on the ship with Pleck, and she applies for an Assistant Junior Missions Operations Manager position with Nermut on the Delegator. She and Pleck still talk over video chat sometimes. Pleck misses his best friend.
Later, it's revealed to the crew that the Federated Alliance is totally evil! They intend to kill Nermut and Filly under the guise of a 'promotion'. in the midst of all the chaos, Pleck realizes he's always loved Filly, and the time to tell her is drawing to a close.
The crew save their Operations Managers successfully! In the heat of escape, thinking they were going to die, Pleck kisses Filly, revealing that he reciprocates her feelings. When they get back to the Bargarean Jade, she kisses him back.

SEASON 2

Long live the rebellion!
The crew is now rebelling against the Federated Alliance. Filly and Pleck start dating; it's new, and mostly just the friendship they had before, only now with kissing and hand holding. 💕
Filly's family back on Celic9 disapproves of her aligning herself with the rebellion, insisting she come home and rejoin the Federated Alliance. She refuses, and is subsequently disowned (；′⌒`)
Normal shenanigans ensue for quite some time, though in secret, Pleck plans to propose soon (the rest of the crew ask if this is perhaps too soon, to which he insists that he isn't going to miss his chance with her like he almost did before).
Through shenanigans and circumstance, Pleck loses an eye. The crew ends up in Hollowood, abandoned by their ship and left to their own devices. They all decide to split up for a while, though not before Pleck proposes officially, and they all scurry about in an impromptu wedding before going their separate ways for a while.

SEASON 3

Down with the emperor!
The crew reunites after several months apart, with the united goal of defeating the new emperor of the galaxy!
Filly and Pleck have been on a several-month-long honeymoon, and accidentally adopt a 5-year-old clone solider named AJ (Pleck insists AJ is NOT their new son. Filly disagrees (✿◡‿◡)).
Normal shenanigans ensue once again and–again–for quite some time! Pleck pursues his destiny. Filly threatens anyone who tries to stop him 🔪
Once the emperor is defeated (kinda?) Filly receives a hologram from Celic9 requesting her help reworking the planets social structure now that the emperor is gone (kinda). After some deliberating, and a few tearful goodbyes, Filly decides to go, leaving for 3 months to rework the entire planet by herself.

SEASON 4

Welcome home!
Filly arrives back on the Bargarean Jade with the fancy new title of Official Ambassador of Celic9. The crew is happy to see their friend, AJ is happy to see his mama, and Pleck is happy to see his wife (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
The crew is now working with Sessu Gundu in her campaign to be voted new leader of the galaxy! Meanwhile, the underlying threat of the Allwheat (which is like if a black hole was mean) plagues the galaxy. Pleck no longer technically has a job on the crew. Filly offers to refuse her title on the crew for the sake of solidarity, but he insists she take the job anyway. He instead focuses most of his time wearing a bathrobe and meditating on The Space.
Pleck launches himself into the Allwheat, believing it to be part of his unfinished destiny, and the crew follow him to save him.
The Allwheat is defeated (for real this time) at the cost of the entire crew, plus some others, getting launched into another galaxy.

SEASON 5

The crew runs around this new galaxy having adventures! Filly and AJ hate this new galaxy. Too much change. Too stupid >:(
Meanwhile, back in their home galaxy, a new foe time-travels through the lives of the crew to gather their worst enemies, unbeknownst to the crew themselves.
Pleck feels super guilty about landing everyone in this new galaxy. Filly dedicates herself to being as cool as she always could've been, had she had more confidence before.
Power couple continues to power couple ✨
Through the power of wasting time and complete luck and circumstance, the crew does eventually find their way home, only to find the galaxy turned upside down without them to defeat Kor Balvore.
As before, and once again, shenanigans ensue!
Pleck and Filly renew their vows, the crew fights and/or makes peace with the demons of their past, and the evil is defeated once and for all! For real this time!

POST-CANON

The crew now rule the galaxy as the Council Of Seven (Or eight if you count Justin). Pleck and Filly have their adopted son AJ (now seven) and a biological daughter (one-thirds Celian, two-thirds Tellurian) named Cecilia (Cici for short). They're also aunt and uncle to Horsehat! (Child of Dar, a member of the aforementioned crew)

The Soulmates Fate Forgot🔪

Spoiler Warning! The lore for this ship runs alongside the events of Resident Evil 7 & 8

Ethan and Filly have been best friends since childhood. Filly only realizes her feelings for Ethan once Mia enters the picture, and out of respect for the both of them, she doesn't act on her feelings once they officially get together. Ethan marries Mia, and Filly quietly removes herself minutely from his life for the most part.
When Mia goes missing, Ethan seeks Filly out, craving comfort from a best friend he hasn't seen since he got married. In the three years that Mia is gone, they have a sort of affair-of-the-heart, though there's no outward confirmation of such, and it all stops when Ethan receives an email from Mia telling him to come get her from Dulvey Louisiana.
Filly accompanies Ethan to Dulvey to get Mia, both for the sake of support, and because she feels guilty about the aforementioned affair of the heart. The both of them get captured and sufficiently traumatized by Evelyn and the infected Baker family, but manage to save Mia and escape.
Mia, Ethan, and Filly all get put under witness protection. The newly-taken over Umbrella Corporation sends the Winters's to Romania, and Filly choses to go as well, though she doesn't tell Ethan that they'll both be relocated there, as she intends to quietly remove herself completely from his life to let him be with Mia. She also brings her sister Rose with her (@one-in-a-million-fos) against Chris Redfield's wishes.
Three years later, Ethan has a daughter (also named Rose, short for Rosemary) and has been living with she and Mia in Romania–as happy as they can be given past trauma. In the middle of a somewhat normal evening, Mia is gunned down by Umbrella agents, and Rose is taken. Ethan is knocked out before any questions can be answered, and he wakes up in a crashed car near a rural Romanian town with a new goal; find Rosemary and get some answers.
Meanwhile, Filly and Rose live a peaceful and mostly secluded life at the edge of the same rustic Romanian village. Filly still isn't quite over Ethan, though the wound has faded somewhat; Rose encourages her to move on as slowly as she needs to (though secretly, she always thought they'd make an excellent couple).
On an average, if boring, evening, creatures of old attack the village, separating Filly and Rose as they try and survive before looking for one another.
Filly and Ethan see each other outside Castle Dimitrescu, both stunned and slightly relieved not to be going through all this alone.
Ethan explains what happened to Mia, that Rosemary was taken, and Filly immediately offers her help, which he gladly takes.
The tour through the castle is tense, with Ethan at some point demanding why she didn't tell him she was in Romania, and Filly in turn demanding why he never tried to find out where she was in the first place. They both admit to having missed one another. Apologies are exchanged, and they fall into old habits from the Baker house, as well as develop new ones for the new horrors in their lives.
Along the journey, they grow close again; two halves that still fit together, even after years apart.
Filly admits that the Winters's have always been her family.
Ethan admits that it should've been her, all that time ago, and not Mia.
They share a kiss.
Further down the line, Ethan and Filly get separated, leading to Filly finding her Rose, and tearfully reuniting with a hug and exchange of supplies. Filly warns her about Heisenburg, and Rose tells her they don't have to worry about Karl.
Filly promises to grill Rose about that later, and they all head off to stop Miranda from killing Ethan before it's too late.
With the power of family (and a significant amount of metal-based ability and firepower) they manage to save Ethan, and as a team they fight Mother Miranda and save Rosemary together.
After it's all over, the village is blown into oblivion, and everyone is transported to safety in earnest, Filly and Ethan are free to give this new chance a try. They both struggle with trauma (both from the Baker house and from the Village), and both feel guilty about being together in the wake of Mia's death, but they finally have each other, and they only have each other.

The Magician and The Maiden🧙

Spoiler Warning! The lore for this ship runs alongside the events of The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle. It will spoil some details having to do with both the book and the movie, as well as the graphic novel.

Schmendrick is a wizard who's bad at magic, and cursed to be immortal and un-aging until he becomes a true wizard. He embarks on a quest with the Unicorn, the last of her kind and seeking the rest of the unicorns in the land of King Haggard.
Filly is a maiden from a noble family, aspiring very much to be a songstress and teller of stories. She leaves her secluded and well-off life to help the Unicorn with Schmendrick and Molly Grue, being sure of her affections for the wizard from the very beginning.
Things are rocky from the start; Schmendrick believes it cruel to be in love with Filly, and he tells her as much; it's cruel for the mortal to love the immortal, just as it's cruel for the living to love the dead. Filly is determined though; she convinces him not to turn her away just yet–to wait and see if he can become a true wizard before their time is up. He is reluctant, but agrees nonetheless (he loves her too, after all).
As it happens, the end of the adventure see's Schmendrick becoming a true wizard, breaking the curse of immortality and ridding him of any reservations about being with his maiden.
The Unicorn finds and frees her people, the newly crowned King Lir runs off to save a maiden of his own, and Schmendrick and Filly ride off into the sunset with Molly Grue, content at last, and, eventually, engaged to be married. And they all lived, happily, ever after.
